About the Position

We are seeking a Structural Design Engineer to take ownership of structural design projects from concept through to completion. Working within a fast-paced project environment, you will be responsible for analysing existing structures, developing new designs, preparing technical documentation, and collaborating with clients and project teams to deliver protected, efficient, and fit-for-purpose engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyse existing communication structures, including towers, masts, and monopoles
- Design new steel and concrete structures, foundations, and associated components
- Prepare engineering calculations, reports, and design documentation
- Review structural drawings and work closely with drafting teams
- Liaise with project managers and clients to deliver engineering outcomes
- Assist with project quotations and technical proposals
- Ensure designs meet Australian Standards and project requirements
- Support compliance with quality, safety, and environmental systems

Skills and Experience Required





- Degree qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Experience in structural steel and concrete design
- Exposure to telecommunications, mining, industrial, or infrastructure projects
- Working knowledge of Australian Standards
- Experience preparing engineering calculations and reports
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with SpaceGass or similar structural analysis software
- AutoCAD experience (desirable)
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
