Lawson Elliott is excited to be exclusively partnering with a brilliant organisation based in the Brisbane CBD. They are looking to welcome in a experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join their team on an ongoing temporary contract as they navigate through an important ERP project.
This will be an excellent opportunity for someone who is highly experienced with large accounting systems and has the knowledge and skillset to work standalone, as your role will encompass a wide variety of responsibilities.
Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, your key responsibilities will be, but are not limited to:
- Reporting and maintaining accurate records
- Assist with payment runs across their newly implemented system
- Manage the AP inbox and respond to supplier enquiries
- Identify and solve any issues within the end-to-end process
- High-volume data entry
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders on a regular basis
- Assist the Finance team with ad-hoc accounts duties as required
To be considered for this role:
- Minimum 3+ years of work experience as an Accounts Payable officer within a large team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of Sage Intacct highly desired
- High problem-solving skills and solution-focussed mindset
