Transport Driver

About the role
An exciting opportunity exists for a reliable and motivated Transport Driver to join the Mental Health Drug & Alcohol Services team based at Bloomfield Hospital. In this role, you will play an important part in supporting the delivery of healthcare services by providing the secure and efficient transportation of staff, patients and goods throughout the Orange area.

This is a hands-on position that offers variety in your day-to-day duties. Alongside driving responsibilities, you will assist with maintaining the fleet of service vehicles, including ensuring vehicles are clean, presentable and ready for use. The role also involves moving and delivering bulky goods and equipment, as well as contributing to the upkeep and presentation of hospital gardens and grounds.

The successful applicant will be someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in maintaining high standards, and is willing to support the service across a range of operational and maintenance activities. Strong communication skills, a commitment to workplace safety, and a customer-focused approach are essential.

This position works day shifts Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays, offering an excellent work-life balance while contributing to the health and wellbeing of the local community.
