A fantastic opportunity exists for an experienced Purchasing Officer to join a leading organisation based in Dandenong South.

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented professional with previous purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth procurement of materials and products by liaising with suppliers, managing purchase orders, monitoring inventory levels, and supporting operational requirements.

Hours: 8:30am – 5:30pm
Start Date: Immediate Start Available
Pay Rate: $33.71 per hour

Key Responsibilities

As a Purchasing Officer, your duties will include:

- Raising and processing purchase orders accurately and efficiently
- Communicating with suppliers regarding pricing, delivery schedules, and order status
- Monitoring stock levels and coordinating replenishment of inventory
- Following up outstanding orders to ensure on-time delivery
- Maintaining accurate purchasing records and supplier information within company systems
- Assisting with supplier management and resolving supply-related issues
- Working closely with internal departments to support operational and production requirements
- Providing administrative support and assisting with additional tasks as required

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

- Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, administration, or a similar role
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Experience processing purchase orders and coordinating with suppliers
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills




- Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and Teams
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive attitude with strong problem-solving abilities
- Full Australian working rights
