Thursday Island Hospital is seeking a Clinical Nurse Consultant in Maternal and Child Health for a six-week contract role based in Thursday Island, Queensland. Preferred Requirements





- Minimum three years' experience in maternal and child health nursing
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Demonstrated experience in immunisation practice and delivery
- Ability to contribute to portfolio development and clinical audit processes

Preferred Qualifications

- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
- Post-graduate qualification or specialist credential in maternal and child health nursing
- Experience in remote or regional healthcare settings is advantageous
