The Opportunity
We have the opportunity for a Motor Vehicle Assessor to join our Victorian team. In this autonomous role, you'll assess damage across a range of light and heavy vehicles, determine repair and settlement outcomes, and work closely with repairers, suppliers and customers to deliver fair, timely and cost-effective claims resolutions.

Your new role
As a Motor Vehicle Assessor, you will:
Assess vehicle damage and determine best-practice repair and settlement outcomes in line with industry standards, legislation, MVIRI requirements and manufacturer repair methods.
Manage claims costs through sound technical decision-making and negotiation.
Build strong relationships with repairers,
suppliers and customers through face-to-face, phone and digital interactions.
Source and negotiate suitable replacement parts when required.
Deliver exceptional customer experiences throughout the claims journey.
Contribute to QBE's Claims strategy and broader business objectives.
About you
To succeed in this role, you'll bring:
A trade qualification in Panel Beating, Spray Painting or Motor Mechanics.
Experience assessing and quoting accident-damaged vehicles across light, heavy and/or prestige vehicles.
Excellent negotiation, conflict resolution and stakeholder management skills.
A customer-first mindset with a proven track record of delivering quality outcomes.
A current driver's licence.
