We are seeking an experienced and motivated Passive Fire Technician to join our clients growing fire protection team in Sydney.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician looking to work with a leading fire protection company delivering high-quality passive fire protection solutions across commercial, healthcare, education and industrial sectors.
As a Passive Fire Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, inspection and rectification of passive fire protection systems to ensure buildings meet relevant Australian Standards, NCC requirements and project specifications.

As a Passive Fire Technician you will be:

- Installing passive fire protection systems, including fire stopping, penetration sealing, fire-rated joints and fire-rated construction systems.
- Inspecting existing passive fire installations and identifying defects or non-compliant installations.
- Completing rectification works to a high standard.
- Reading plans, specifications and fire-stopping details.
- Maintaining accurate job records, photographs and installation documentation.
- Working closely with project managers, builders,



fire engineers and other trades.
- Ensuring all works are completed in accordance with manufacturer specifications, relevant Australian Standards and applicable NSW requirements.
- Maintaining a solid focus on safety, quality and customer service.

Ideally, you will have:

- Previous experience in passive fire protection, fire stopping or a related construction trade.
- Knowledge of passive fire systems and fire-rated building construction.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Fire industry experience or relevant passive fire qualifications will be highly regarded as well as hands on fire door or damper experience

For this role rates between $45-52ph plus vehicle and super depending on experience. The company offer extensive training and support for Technicians that want to further their career and gain experience and qualifications
