About the role

Xenith Consulting is seeking a motivated Corporate Finance Analyst (2+ years' experience) to join our growing Capital Markets & Strategy team in Sydney, NSW.

This full-time role is ideal for someone early in their career with some experience in corporate finance, investment banking, transaction services or a related advisory environment who is looking to build their transaction experience across the mining, energy and infrastructure sectors.

Working closely with clients, executives and boards, you will gain exposure to complex mining, energy and infrastructure transactions alongside industry-leading technical experts. You will play a key role in delivering financial analysis, valuation modelling, due diligence and high-quality client deliverables, while contributing to complex transactions from inception through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

- Support mergers and acquisitions (M&A;), strategic advisory and capital markets engagements across a range of industries and transaction types.

- Develop and maintain robust financial models, valuation analyses and transaction-related financial assessments.

- Manage virtual data rooms and assist in coordinating due diligence activities throughout the transaction process.

- Track, coordinate and respond to transaction-related Q&A; request during live transactions.

- Prepare high-quality client deliverables, including presentations, information memoranda, board papers, investment materials and strategic reports.

- Conduct detailed financial, commercial and industry research to support client engagements and investment decisions.

- Assist with the preparation of proposals, pitch materials and client presentations to support business development activities.





- Collaborate closely with senior advisers and cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional outcomes for clients.

- Support the successful execution of transactions from initial analysis through to completion, while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and professionalism

What we are looking for:

1. Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in financial modelling and Excel.

2. Solid understanding of corporate finance principles, including valuation methodologies, capital structure and financial statement analysis.

3. Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely.

4. Attention to detail and strong organisational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

5. Ability to work effectively in a rapid-paced, deadline-driven environment.

6. Genuinely interested in the mining, energy and infrastructure sectors.

7. Strong teamwork and collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn and develop professional skills.

8. Relevant experience in corporate finance, investment banking or financial advisory (preferred).
