What you'll be doing
As a Physiotherapist Level 1/2 within the Hospital in the Home Service, you will provide high-quality, evidence-informed physiotherapy care to patients with a broad range of clinical needs, including those with complex conditions requiring advanced clinical reasoning and professional judgement.
Working autonomously and collaboratively,
you will assess, plan, implement and evaluate physiotherapy interventions that support patients to achieve their health goals while remaining in their home environment.
· Deliver comprehensive physiotherapy assessment, treatment and care planning for HITH patients
· Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, patients, carers and families to optimise health outcomes
· Apply advanced clinical reasoning and judgement to manage complex cases in community settings
· Support the development of staff, students and Allied Health Assistants through supervision and mentoring
· Contribute to quality improvement, service development, data collection and virtual care initiatives

Essential Criteria:
· License: Current NSW Driver Licence
· Qualification: Degree or Diploma recognised by Physiotherapy Board of Australia
· Registration: Physiotherapy Australia / AHPRA
Selection Criteria:
1. Current Registration with AHPRA - Physiotherapy Australia
2. Current NSW Driver Licence
3. Demonstrated skill, with minimal supervision, in patient assessment, planning and evaluation of interventions, from a physiotherapy perspective, for adult clients in a community setting, or willingness to learn
4. Demonstrated ability with patient assessment,
planning and goal setting and evaluation of Physiotherapy interventions
5. Significant post graduate experience with adult clients including experience with patients with respiratory and orthopaedic conditions
6. Demonstrated ability to use initiative and manage complex client issues and problem-solving, with the formulation and implementation of care plans, and monitoring of patient outcomes
7. Highly developed written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, coaching and facilitation skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, clients and carers
8. Excellent time management and organisation skills with attention to detail
