Reports to – Principal Organisational Development

The Role

This position supports Council by influencing culture, developing leaders, enhancing employee experience and delivering organisation-wide initiatives that make a lasting impact on both employees and the community we serve.

What You Will Be Doing:

You will play an integral role in contributing to the development of Council’s leaders, strengthening culture and preparing our workforce for the future through implementation of organisational development initiatives and programs that improve employee experience, drive engagement and support Council's long-term success.

- Contribute to the design and delivery of leadership, culture and organisational development initiatives that build capability and drive employee engagement.

- Lead and coordinate Council's corporate induction and onboarding program, ensuring new employees have a positive and consistent experience.

- Partner with stakeholders across the organisation to support cultural change, workforce planning and capability development.

- Analyse employee survey data and workforce insights to identify trends and implement meaningful improvement actions.

- Coordinate and monitor OD programs and projects, ensuring initiatives deliver measurable outcomes aligned to Council's strategic priorities.

What You will bring:





You will bring a blend of organisational development expertise, strong stakeholder relationships, data-driven thinking and a genuine passion for helping people, leaders and teams thrive.

- Experience designing and delivering leadership, culture, engagement or workforce capability initiatives that drive organisational performance.

- Strong facilitation, communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation.

- A collaborative and people-focused approach, with a passion for creating positive employee experiences and workplace cultures.

- Analytical thinking and the ability to turn workforce data and insights into practical actions and improvements.

- The ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently and deliver outcomes in a dynamic environment.
