Do you have case management experience supporting children and families in either OOHC or Child Protection? Looking for an adventure in the Northern Territory? This role is available immediately, so don't hesitate and get in touch today! Based in Tennant Creek this role covers Barkly region of the Territory . You'll be expected to drive across country to get to the communities you're working with - 4x4 training is provided!
Role
In this role you will use your experience working with vulnerable children, young people and families to carry out necessary assessments of individual, family and community issues. You will use appropriate methods of intervention and provide provide comprehensive case management support to children, families and carers in foster care placements.
You will also help keep children connected to culture and where appropriate maintain a relationship with birth families.
Requirements
- Degree qualification in social work, psychology or relevant community welfare fields.
- Previous case management experience in a child protection/family support setting.
- Skills in assessment of child protection, family and community dynamics
- Preparedness to travel in 4WD vehicles , as required, and ability to undertake travel including overnight stays as necessary.

In return, you will be offered a salary in the region of $95-120k + Super. Free Accommodation is also provided. Relocation costs are also available for candidates.
