About the Opportunity
An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the operations, maintenance, compliance and presentation of a diverse portfolio of commercial, retail and industrial properties across Adelaide. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the presentation, maintenance and physical operation of a portfolio of commercial, retail and industrial properties.
- Supervise service and maintenance contractors to ensure efficient and effective plant operation.
- Monitor maintenance works and coordinate responses to tenant service requests.
- Ensure all WHS and compliance obligations are met, including fire, lift, mechanical and electrical services.
- Review existing service contracts and maintenance arrangements, including re-tendering where required.
- Assist with the development and implementation of capital works programs.
- Support the delivery of special projects and operational initiatives as required.
- Coordinate after-hours contractor attendance and site issues when necessary.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum three years' experience in a Facilities Management or similar role.
- Experience managing building operations across commercial property assets.
- Trade qualification in electrical, mechanical services or a related discipline is highly regarded.
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
- Proven ability to effectively manage contractors and service providers.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
