As Hitec Welding continues to expand its fabrication network, the opportunity for an experienced mechanical / project engineer has opened to join our team.
About the Role:
The role of Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the following duties:
- Oversee production and fabrication works
- Supervise activities including NDE, Pressure Testing, Surface protection
- Managing, forecasting and ordering materials on all your projects
- Responsibility for recording and managing project documentation
- Auto Cad / Solid Works experience (Recommended)
- General experience with Welding Procedures
- Knowledge of PIDs, GA Drawings and Weld Maps
Requirements:
- 4-Year Engineering degree
- Minimum 3 years of industry experience
- Demonstrate the ability to manage and sustain managing multiple projects, prioritizing demands and handle complex tasks while meeting deadlines
- Robust communication skills and the ability to establish working relationship with a diverse workforce.
- Ability to promote and apply safe working methods
