About the role

The Quality and Clinical Governance Leader is responsible for leading and coordinating quality, clinical governance, compliance, education, and continuous improvement activities. The role supports the delivery of secure, high-quality, person-centred and culturally appropriate aged care services that align with the Aged Care Quality Standards, relevant legislation, and organisational values.

- $118,560 + 12% Super + $2 ph remote allowance, loadings, penalties & overtime $$$

- Shared housing provided - $200 per week + split utilities (No pets, partners or children)

- Relocation assistance up to $5,000

- Meals, entertainment & electricity allowances - Salary packaging up to $15,900

- Total package of $153,113.44

Key responsibilities

- Lead and coordinate quality, clinical governance, compliance, education, and continuous improvement activities

- Work collaboratively with residents, families, staff, management, and community stakeholders

- Drive a culture of continuous improvement through education, coaching, auditing, risk management, and quality assurance processes





- Provide leadership and guidance to managers and clinical teams to strengthen clinical practice

- Enhance workforce capability and manage risk to improve resident outcomes

- Support accreditation and audit preparedness

- Monitor quality indicators

- Investigate incidents and complaints

- Ensure effective clinical governance systems are embedded throughout the service

- Partner with teams to implement sustainable improvements while maintaining focus on resident wellbeing, regulatory compliance, and organisational excellence

About you

- Minimum two (2) years' experience in a quality, clinical governance, clinical leadership, care management, or senior nursing role

- Experience within residential aged care services

- Experience in accreditation preparation, quality systems management, and compliance monitoring

- Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives and organisational change programs

- Experience facilitating staff education, competency assessment, and workforce development
