About the role:

Our Senior's division is expanding across Sydney, and we are seeking an experienced Allied Health Assistant to facilitate group exercise programs that support older people to maintain their mobility, confidence and overall wellbeing.

This is a rewarding opportunity to work directly with seniors, building meaningful relationships while helping participants achieve their health and lifestyle goals. You will work autonomously within a supportive Allied Health team, delivering evidence-based exercise programs that make a genuine difference in people's lives.

The role offers 10 hours per week over two days, primarily based in Waitara and Chatswood on Wednesdays and Thursdays. As our services continue to grow, opportunities to provide in-home support may also become available.

What your day may look like:

- Support Healthy Ageing: Facilitate gentle group exercise programs for up to 12 participants, tailored to varying fitness levels and health needs under the guidance of an Allied Health Professional.
- Empower Independence: Encourage and motivate participants to build strength, confidence, balance and mobility so they can continue living independently.
- Build Meaningful Connections: Develop positive relationships with participants, families, carers and colleagues, creating a welcoming and inclusive environment.
- Deliver Secure and Quality Care: Monitor participant wellbeing, understand individual support needs, and ensure activities are delivered safely and effectively.
- Create Community: Lead engaging sessions that foster social connection, participation and a sense of belonging for older Australians.
- Be Part of a Team: Assist with program setup and other duties as required,



contributing to a collaborative team culture focused on positive outcomes.

About you:

- Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance or a related qualification.
- Experience facilitating group exercise programs, ideally within aged care, community health or disability services.
- A genuine passion for supporting older Australians to live healthy, active and fulfilling lives.
- Confidence leading groups and engaging participants with warmth, patience and respect.
- Willingness to undergo a National Criminal History Check and/or obtain an NDIS Worker Check.
- Current unrestricted NSW Driver Licence and access to a registered and insured motor vehicle.
- Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology backgrounds will be highly regarded.
