About the Role

As Duty Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the venue during your allocated shifts and ensuring everything runs smoothly from start to finish. You'll lead the team, manage service standards, respond to customer needs, and make confident operational decisions when required.

You'll work closely with the Venue Manager and wider leadership team, assisting with staff development, rostering, stock control, compliance, and day-to-day operations. This is a highly hands-on position where your ability to stay organised and composed during peak periods will be essential.

Your Skills and Experience

- Previous experience as a Duty Manager, Assistant Manager, Supervisor, or senior team member within a high-volume hospitality venue.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and coordinate a team during busy services.
- Strong communication and customer service skills with a confident and skilled manner.
- Sound understanding of RSA, liquor licensing, workplace health and safety, and venue compliance.
- Highly organised and solutions-focused with the ability to make effective decisions under pressure.
