About the Team

The Learning Design and Technology Unit sits within the Education Portfolio in the Division of Education and Students. The team brings together expertise in digital pedagogy, learning technologies, educational media and learning experience design to support staff and enhance the student experience.

Job Purpose

The role advances strategic technology initiatives to support the digital learning experience and alignment with institutional priorities. It works across internal stakeholders and external partners to coordinate learning design production, support partnership activity and contribute to continuous improvement.

Role Responsibilities

Lead the enablement and adoption of educational technologies within learning design workflows.

Collaborate with stakeholders to investigate, evaluate and support implementation of technology solutions.





Coordinate learning design production and process improvement for partner delivered courses.

Manage and deliver projects related to technology integration and partnership initiatives.

Coordinate cross functional teams and support delivery of project outcomes.

Lead evaluation of initiatives and contribute to reporting and insights for continuous improvement.

Build and maintain stakeholder relationships and represent the team in relevant forums.

Detailed Description

Selection Criteria

Ability to lead strategic initiatives involving technology and partnerships in a complex environment.

High level project management skills, including planning, coordination and delivery of multi-stream initiatives.

Deep understanding of digital learning technologies and their application in higher education.

Demonstrated experience in leading technology enabled projects or initiatives within an educational or similar setting.

Experience in developing and managing strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.

Experience delivering outcomes through cross functional collaboration.

Remuneration/Salary

What We Offer

Base Salary Range: $122,640 to $139,674 (HEW8) plus 17% superannuation (pension).

The position is full time and will be made on a continuing basis.
