We are seeking an experienced and motivated Partnerships & Business Development Lead to drive strategic partnerships, grow referral networks, and support domestic student recruitment across Western Australia.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Strategic Partnerships, you will play a key role in expanding Stanley College's market presence by identifying and developing opportunities with employers, schools, community organisations, government agencies, workforce providers, and other key stakeholders.

The role contributes to the achievement of domestic enrolment targets by generating new business opportunities, building referral channels, promoting Stanley College`s programs and services, and supporting industry engagement initiatives. Working closely with the Head of Strategic Partnerships, Marketing, Admissions, Academic and Student Services teams, the position plays a key role in strengthening Stanley College`s market presence and expanding its domestic student pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

Partnership Development & Business Growth

- Identify, develop, and manage strategic partnerships that support student recruitment and organisational growth.
- Build relationships with employers, industry groups, schools, community organisations, and workforce networks.
- Negotiate and support partnership agreements and collaborative initiatives.
- Represent Stanley College at networking events, expos, industry forums, and community engagement activities.

Student Recruitment & Lead Generation





- Develop and grow referral networks that generate qualified student enquiries.
- Deliver presentations and information sessions to prospective students and stakeholder groups.
- Promote Stanley College's courses, pathways, and services to external audiences.
- Support recruitment campaigns and enrolment initiatives.

Industry Engagement & Workforce Development

- Foster relationships with industry stakeholders to support workplace learning and employment pathways.
- Connect employers with academic teams to identify opportunities for collaboration.
- Support career fairs, employer showcases, and recruitment activities.
- Identify emerging workforce trends and opportunities.

Stakeholder & CRM Management

- Act as a trusted contact for external partners and referral networks.
- Manage stakeholder engagement activities and maintain strong ongoing relationships.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and monitor pipeline activity.
- Prepare reports and insights on partnership and recruitment performance.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Essential

- Degree qualification in Business, Marketing, Communications, Education, or a related discipline.
- 3 to 5 years' experience in business development, partnership management, sales, recruitment, stakeholder engagement, or a similar role.
- Demonstrated success in developing partnerships and generating new business opportunities.
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Proven ability to achieve targets and deliver measurable outcomes.

Desirable

- Experience within Higher Education,



Vocational Education and Training (VET), workforce development, employment services, or recruitment sectors.
- Existing networks within schools, employers, community organisations, or workforce agencies.
- Experience using CRM systems and managing sales pipelines.

Please note: Successful candidates will be required to undergo a National Police Records Check prior to commencing employment.
