The Opportunity

Culture Kings is seeking an exceptional Senior Store Manager to lead our Melbourne CBD flagship store — one of the most significant and high-profile locations within our retail network.

This is a senior retail leadership opportunity for an experienced operator who knows how to lead at scale, build high-performing teams and deliver outstanding commercial results in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

As the leader of our Melbourne flagship, you will have full ownership of the store’s performance, people and customer experience. You’ll set the standard for operational excellence, create a solid performance culture and ensure the store consistently represents Culture Kings at its best.

We’re looking for a commercially driven, highly visible leader who thrives on the floor, understands the numbers and knows how to turn strategy into execution.

The Role

As Senior Store Manager, you will take end-to-end ownership of the Melbourne CBD flagship and lead a large, diverse team to deliver exceptional results.

You will:

- Lead the overall commercial performance of the store, with accountability for sales, profitability, productivity and key retail KPIs




- Build, coach and develop a high-performing leadership team and broader store team
- Create a strong culture of accountability, performance, engagement and continuous improvement
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience while maintaining world-class brand and visual standards
- Use data, reporting and commercial insights to identify opportunities and drive store performance
- Lead effective workforce planning, rostering and talent management within a high-volume retail environment
- Maintain exceptional operational standards across all areas of the store
- Partner closely with Retail Leadership and key support functions to execute business priorities
- Develop strong internal talent pipelines and succession plans for future retail leaders
- Act as a Culture Kings brand ambassador, bringing energy, leadership and a strong presence to our Melbourne flagship

About You

You are an experienced senior retail leader who is confident operating within a complex, high-volume environment and knows what exceptional retail execution looks like.

You will bring:

- Significant Store Management or senior retail leadership experience within a high-volume, rapid-paced retail environment
- Demonstrated experience leading large teams and developing strong leadership capability beneath you
- A strong commercial mindset with proven success delivering against sales, wage, productivity and profitability targets
- Confidence interpreting performance data and translating insights into action
- Strong operational capability and exceptional attention to execution
- A track record of building engaged,



accountable and high-performing teams
- The ability to influence, communicate and partner effectively across all levels of a business
- Experience within a flagship, high-volume or multi-department retail environment will be highly regarded
