The Team

- Eastern Shore Community Nursing, based in Rosny Park, providing a 7 day a week community nursing service in homes and clinics across Hobart's eastern shore catchment.
- Our nursing team specialises in assessment, planning and implementation of wound care, catheter/stoma/drain care, palliative care and post-acute clinical care.
- We offer a supportive environment to develop and utilise the advanced clinical skills required to work both autonomously and as part of a team.

The Role

- Provide high-quality, clinically appropriate, person-centred care to clients in their homes and community clinics within the Eastern Shore of Hobart.
- Engage clients, their families, and significant others in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care, while promoting a safe and supportive home environment.
- Maintain current knowledge, clinical expertise, and professional competencies relevant to the community nursing role through ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.

Details of appointment

Fixed term full time, shift worker position, working up to 48 hours per fortnight, as soon as possible until 31 August 2027.

*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.





Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.

Salary

$80,524 to $109,175 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

- Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.

Access to the Grade 4 salary range $102,439- $109,175 is subject to successful application for progression to Grade 4

In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:

- Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type

Eligibility

Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria.

- Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse

- Current Driver’s Licence

- Working with Vulnerable People Registration (WWVPR) – NDIS
