We are looking for reliable, hands-on Carpenter or Formworker to join our team in Perth, WA. This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term work on a large-scale infrastructure project within the Perth Metro area.
The Role
We are seeking a self-motivated, observant, and diligent Carpenter or Formworker capable of working with minimal supervision.
Your tasks and duties will include:
- Studying drawings and specifications to determine materials required, dimensions, and installation procedures.
- Measuring, cutting, and assembling materials (wood, steel, etc.) to construct formwork for concrete pours.
- Formwork installation and assembly
- Formwork, framing, fix-out, and fit-off
- Erecting framework and roof framing, and laying sub-flooring.
- Ensuring all structures align with safety and building codes.
Skills and Experience
The following skills are required for the role:
- Relevant trade qualification (AQF Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent).
- Experience in carpentry, formwork, or similar construction work.
- Australian manual driver's license.
- Construction White card.
- A great attitude and be a team player.
- Building high end multi storey projects using various formwork systems.
