As our Senior Environmental Manager, you'll provide environmental leadership across the Group, managing compliance, mitigating risk, and supporting major operational and development projects.
What you'll be doing
- Lead environmental compliance activities across multiple sites, ensuring adherence to licences, approvals, and environmental legislation.
- Manage environmental monitoring programs covering air, water, noise, waste, biodiversity, and heritage matters.
- Provide environmental due diligence and risk assessment support for operational and development projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with environmental regulators, local councils, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Lead responses to environmental audits, inspections, incidents, and compliance assessments.
- Provide strategic environmental advice to senior leadership and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the Group.
About you
- Degree qualified in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management, Ecology, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years' experience in environmental compliance, regulation, or environmental management.
- Strong knowledge of NSW and other State environmental legislation, approvals, licensing, and regulatory frameworks.
- Demonstrated experience working with government agencies, regulators, and external stakeholders.
- Excellent report writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Confident managing multiple projects while influencing and engaging stakeholders at all levels.
