The 212 bed private hospital is co-located with Westmead Hospital and Westmead Children’s Hospital and is a teaching hospital of the Western Clinical School of the University of Sydney.

Job Description

Westmead Private Hospital is seeking enthusiastic Registered Nurses who are happy to support with afternoon, and night duty shifts in West Ward - a busy medical/surgical ward. This specialities for this ward include orthopaedic, gynae, bariatric, ENT, plastics, colorectal and paediatric post-operative care.

Our afternoon and night duty RNs play a crucial role in strengthening staffing after hours, ensuring patients continue to receive consistent, high‑quality care when demand is high, and resources need to be agile.

Full-Time, Part-Time and Casual opportunities available!

About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical skillset in a hospital setting. Your excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills and passion for client care will assist in providing a high standard of customer focused service, in line with Ramsay’s core values.

You will also bring:

- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum of 12 months’ post-graduate experience working in an acute setting
- Acute Surgical or Medical experience advantageous but not essential
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Additional Information
