Finance Systems Administrator - Top tier law firm - Melbourne or Sydney
- Play a key role in supporting and evolving the finance systems that underpin the firm's operations.
- Contribute to a mix of business-as-usual support, testing, system enhancements and strategic technology projects, including cloud-based initiatives.
- Work alongside experienced Finance Systems professionals to solve complex problems, drive improvements and support the ongoing evolution of the firm's finance systems.
About the Role
We're seeking a Finance Systems Administrator to join our Finance team and play a key role in supporting and enhancing the firm's critical financial systems. This is a full-time, permanent position with the flexibility to be based in Sydney or Melbourne.
Supporting our Elite 3E practice management system and related applications, you'll work across system administration, user support, testing and project delivery. The role is focused on ensuring the seamless operation of our finance systems while identifying opportunities to improve performance, streamline processes and enhance the user experience.
The key responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to the following:
- Ensure the smooth operation and ongoing performance of Elite3E and related finance systems
- Monitor system balancing, data integrity and financial controls
- Provide application support and troubleshoot complex system issues
- Coordinate testing for enhancements, upgrades, patches and new functionality
- Maintain system security, configurations and supporting documentation
- Partner with Finance, Technology and business stakeholders to deliver effective solutions
- Support cloud migration and finance systems transformation projects
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance system performance and user experience
About You
You may currently be working as a Financial Systems Administrator, Application Support Consultant, Systems Analyst, or Testing Specialist within a professional services environment.
To be successful, you'll ideally have:
- Experience supporting finance, ERP or practice management systems
- Exposure to Elite, Aderant or similar platforms
- An understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
- Experience within a law firm or professional services organisation
- Experience with system testing and user support
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- SQL or MS SQL Server experience, is highly regarded
