Business Development Manager – Commercial

This is a hands-on business development role for someone who knows that growth comes from being in market, building relationships and following through.

You’ll own Victoria and South Australia, developing recent opportunities, growing existing accounts and managing your territory with a high degree of autonomy.

The sales cycle can take time, so success comes from staying close to customers, keeping opportunities moving and being disciplined with your follow-up.

Face up. Follow up. Repeat.

What you’ll do:

- Build and manage your territory.
- Develop new business opportunities.
- Grow existing customer relationships.
- Spend significant time in front of customers.
- Maintain a strong and active pipeline.
- Stay disciplined with planning and follow-up.
- Deliver against clear sales and activity KPIs.
- Manage your own calendar, priorities and territory strategy.

This is a field-based role with regular travel across Victoria and South Australia, and occasional interstate travel.

You’ll be on the road regularly,



including regional travel and overnight stays when required.

You’ll need to enjoy being out with customers, managing your own schedule and spending your time where the opportunities are.

- Proven B2B sales or business development experience.
- Strong new business capability.
- Excellent relationship-building skills.
- Consistent prospecting and follow-up habits.
- Confidence working autonomously.
- Strong organisation and territory management.
- Accountability for both activity and results.
- The persistence to manage longer sales cycles.
