We're proud to offer the 15% Government Worker Retention Payment and are seeking an experienced and passionate Educational Leader to join our leadership team, working 5 days per week across our operating hours of 6:30am–6:30pm.
This is an exciting opportunity to mentor educators, lead curriculum development and help drive continuous improvement across our service.

About the role :
As an Educational Leader at Shapes Early Learning, you will:
- Lead the implementation of a high-quality educational program aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF V2.0) and the National Quality Standard.
- Mentor, coach and inspire educators to continually strengthen their practice.
- Guide educators through the planning cycle, critical reflection and documentation process.
- Promote inclusive practices that recognise each child's strengths, interests, culture and identity.
- Foster respectful, responsive and secure relationships with children, families and colleagues.
- Support continuous improvement through Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) goals and reflective practice.
- Build educator capability through coaching, modelling best practice and professional learning.
- Champion child safe practices and ensure every interaction promotes children's safety, wellbeing and rights.
- Work collaboratively with the Centre Leadership Team to maintain compliance with the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations.
What We’re Looking For :
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
- Previous experience as an Educational Leader or strong leadership experience within an early childhood setting
- Excellent knowledge of the EYLF V2.0, National Quality Standard and National Regulations
- Strong understanding of curriculum planning, critical reflection and mentoring educators
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Passion for delivering high-quality early childhood education
- Current Queensland Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications (or willingness to obtain)
- Foundations of Child Safety Certificate (or willingness to complete prior to commencement)

- Participate in a comprehensive induction program covering Child Protection, Mandatory Reporting, the Child Secure Standards, Reportable Conduct, supervision practices and our Child Safe Code of Conduct.
- Comply with all Shapes Early Learning Child Safe policies, procedures and Code of Conduct.
