At Bethania OSHC, we provide high-quality before school, after school, and vacation care programs that encourage children to learn, explore, and build confidence in a nurturing environment.

We are looking for a Diploma Qualified Educator to join our team on a casual basis. Flexible shifts are available Monday to Friday between 6:30am and 6:00pm, with opportunities for split shifts and increased hours during school holiday periods.

?About the Role

As our next Educator at Bethania OSHC, you will:

- Actively supervise and engage children in a range of activities—both indoor and outdoor—that stimulate learning and promote wellbeing.

- Create a protected, supportive, and welcoming environment where children can play, explore, and develop new skills.

- Deliver programs that are tailored to the varying ages, interests, and abilities of the children in care, in line with the ‘My Time Our Place: Framework for OSHC’ and the National Quality Framework.

- Foster positive, respectful relationships with children, families, and the wider school community.

- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.

- Help keep our space sparkling and safe by pitching in with light cleaning tasks.

?About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Certificate III or Diploma in Children’s Services (or ACECQA-approved equivalent) or actively working towards one.

- Have a genuine passion for working with school‑aged children

- Are reliable, flexible, and a positive team player

- A strong understanding of the National Quality Standards and the National Framework.

- A current Blue Card and certifications in First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis.





- Completed relevant Child Protection Training course (as per Section 162A of the Education and Care Services National Law)

- Previous experience in an OSHC or similar childcare setting (an advantage)

- Proven ability to build positive, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

- A genuine passion for working with children and fostering their development.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Willingness to work within the Christian ethos of the service.

- Experience with Food Handling (desired but not essential).
