Our client is a well-established organisation with a strong presence in South Australia, seeking an experienced Facilities Officer / Facilities Manager to join their team on a temporary basis. With an immediate requirement for additional support, this role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse property portfolio and contribute to the effective delivery of facilities management services.

Your new role

As the Facilities Officer / Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of facilities operations, ensuring buildings, assets and contractor services are maintained to a high standard. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external service providers to deliver safe, compliant and efficient workplace environments.

Key responsibilities include:

Coordinating planned and reactive maintenance activities.
Managing contractors and monitoring service delivery performance.
Conducting site inspections and identifying maintenance requirements.
Ensuring compliance with WHS, statutory and building regulations.
Managing facilities-related budgets, invoices and reporting.
Supporting workplace services, accommodation moves and asset management.
Building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships across the business.
What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role,



you will possess:

Previous experience in facilities management, property management, building operations or a related field.
Experience managing maintenance programs and service contractors.
Strong understanding of building services, compliance and safety requirements.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
A proactive and solutions-focused approach to facilities management.
A current National Police Clearance, or the ability to obtain one, will be highly regarded.
