Carillion Wines is looking for an enthusiastic, hands-on team member to join our growing business. This is a diverse role that combines warehouse operations, customer service, sales support and marketing, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and wants to be involved in all aspects of a modern wine business.
We’re looking for someone with energy, initiative and a genuine passion for wine, hospitality or the food and beverage industry. Experience is great, but attitude is everything.
About the Role
You’ll play an important role in keeping our business running smoothly, from preparing wine orders and managing stock through to assisting with events, wholesale sales and customer engagement.
No two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick, pack and dispatch customer and trade orders.
- Receive deliveries and maintain warehouse organisation.
- Stock management and inventory control.
- Operate a forklift (or obtain a forklift licence if you don’t already have one).
- Assist with local deliveries when required.
- Provide outstanding customer service.
- Support sales initiatives and maintain customer relationships.
- Assist with email marketing and promotions.
- Help coordinate wine events, tastings and festivals.
- General administration and support across the business.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Brings enthusiasm and a positive attitude to work every day.
- Is reliable, organised and self-motivated.
- Enjoys working in a small team where everyone pitches in.
- Has excellent communication skills.
- Is physically capable of warehouse duties and lifting wine cartons.
- Has good computer skills and confidence using social media.
- Holds a current driver’s licence.
- Has a forklift licence or is willing to obtain one (essential).
- Has an interest in wine, hospitality or marketing (highly regarded).
