About the Role

This position is specifically designed to meet the training requirements of doctors continuing their physician training with the RACP in 2027. It focuses on consolidating your specialty area training and commencing General Medical Registrar experience while preparing for the RACP written examination.

The role is available to motivated Medical BPT2 (consolidation phase)



and to more experienced HMO’s comfortable working at medical registrar level who wish to commence Basic Physician Training.

- Neurology (HMO)
- Endocrinology (HMO)
- Infectious Disease (HMO)
- ICU (HMO)
- Gastroenterology (HMO)
- Renal (HMO); Respiratory (HMO); Cardiology (HMO) – primarily BPT1 level jobs
- Specialist Clinics (HMO) – Craigieburn
- General Medicine (Reg) – Northern Hospital, Horsham Hospital, Echuca Health, Broadmeadows Health Service
- Aged Care (Reg) – Bundoora and Broadmeadows Hospital
- Admitting Medical Unit/Perioperative Medicine (Reg)

Qualifications

- Medical registration with the Medical Board of Australia under the AHPRA
- Must have satisfactorily completed intern year in Australia
- Current National Police and Working with Children History Check
