Position: Plumber (Permanent)

Location: Royal Military College – Duntroon, ACT

Responsibilities

- Perform general plumbing maintenance and minor upgrade works according to PAS service definitions.
- Maintain and repair water supply, sewerage, drainage, and other plumbing systems across the base.
- Undertake backflow prevention and thermostatic mixing valve testing where certified.
- Respond promptly to service requests and urgent repairs.

Qualifications

- Certificate III in Plumbing (or equivalent).
- Post‑trade experience in plumbing maintenance, preferably in a facilities or Defence environment.
- Demonstrated ability to perform plumbing system maintenance, drainage, and water system management.
- Backflow Prevention Certification and Gas Work Licence (Type A) – desirable.
- Current open driver’s licence.
- Ability to obtain and retain Defence Security Clearance (Australian citizenship required).
