North Point Brighton & Beach House Brighton is looking for an experienced Chef De Partie to join theteam.

North Point is located at the beach end of North Road in Brighton overlooking the bay. North Point is a premium 160 seat beach front cafe that is open for breakfast & lunch.

Beach House Brighton is our other beachfront cafe located metres away from the iconic Brighton Beach Bathing Boxes. Beach House is an iconic cafe with unmatched bay and city views serving breakfast and lunch on the Brighton foreshore.

Applicant must be professional and reliable with a passion for foodandapositive team attitude.

Excellent communication skills andgood english isessential.

You will be required to assist the HeadChef with the day to day operations of the kitchen, show leadership, attention to detail, strong customer service, and high standard of cleanliness and presentation. You must be able to work efficiently & operate well under pressure in a team environment.

This is anopportunity to develop your skills in the kitchen.



We require at least two years experience in high volume kitchen along witha Certificate III or higher qualification in Commercial Cookery. Weekend availability is required.

Responsibilities

- Planning and preparingmeals and food items.
- Order food supplies in consultation with Chef Manager
- Ensure safe and hygienic storage, handling, and preparation of food and drinks
- Ensuring cooking methods, portions and recipes are followed
- Maintaining a clean and well-presented kitchen compliant with food safety standards;
- Ability to work independently and autonomously andwork as part of a team to create a safe and friendly work workplace.
- Have a positive and can-do attitude.
