Graduate Engineer - Mechanical / Electrical

Kick-Start Your Engineering Career on a Major Renewables Project

We have an immediate requirement for a Field Project Engineer with a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree to join a project team working on a major project in Central NSW.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent engineering graduate or early-career engineer looking to gain valuable hands‑on project experience and build a strong foundation in project engineering.
Working closely with site supervisors and the project team, you will play an important role in capturing daily project activity, monitoring progress and ensuring accurate project reporting is maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

About the Role
As the Field Project Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:

- Liaising with site supervisors to understand and capture daily project activities
- Recording daily labour, work hours and project activities
- Categorising activities and hours against the relevant areas of the project
- Preparing accurate and detailed daily project reports
- Updating project progress reports and tracking project activity
- Reviewing information provided by site teams to ensure reporting is accurate and complete
- Working closely with supervisors to identify project progress, issues and key activities
- Compiling information into clear and concise reports
- Submitting completed project reports to the project owner for review




- Supporting the broader project team with general project coordination and reporting requirements

About You
We are looking for someone who is organised, analytical and keen to develop their engineering career.
You will ideally have:

- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Graduate or early-career engineering experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Solid Excel and computer skills
- The ability to collect, analyse and present project information
- A proactive approach and willingness to get involved on site
- The ability to work independently and communicate effectively with site supervisors and project stakeholders
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Previous project or site experience is advantageous but not essential.
