The Role

The Stores & Facilities Department supports SCHS operations through the procurement, supply and delivery of essential goods and services, ensuring a reliable and sustainable supply chain. The department also coordinates routine repairs and maintenance, including building and grounds maintenance, gardening and cleaning across all SCHS sites, and manages the SCHS vehicle fleet.

Provide operational support to the Stores & Facilities Coordinator across facilities and fleet maintenance, the central inventory store, and grounds maintenance at all SCHS sites.

Support the delivery of compliant, efficient and cost-effective services that meet operational requirements and contribute to a protected and secure environment for all building occupants and visitors.

Key Selection Criteria

Essential:





- High level customer service skills, strong problem-solving skills with a helpful attitude.

- A high level of initiative to be proactive, and to work without direct supervision.

- High level of attention to details and ability to prioritise and multitask.

- Experience or qualifications in general maintenance.

- Good knowledge within the Microsoft Office Suites.

- Physically capable of manual handling and working in an outdoor environment.

- Proven ability to liaise with, monitor and direct nominated contractors or preferred suppliers undertaking approved work on the site(s) as necessary.

- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.

- Current Victorian Working with Children Check (Employee), or the ability to obtain and maintain one prior to commencement.

Desirable:

- Experience and knowledge of Accounting & Fleet Car Software
