Residential & Commercial Draftsperson / Building Designer

Join a growing Sunshine Coast building and design company delivering a diverse range of residential and commercial projects. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Draftsperson /Building Designer to join our collaborative team in Buderim.

As a Draftsperson/Building Designer, you will play a key role in delivering projects from initial concept through to detailed construction documentation. Working closely with our Design Manager and construction team, you will ensure all documentation is accurate, compliant, and completed to a high skilled standard.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare contract and construction documentation
- Drafting custom homes, house and land packages and commercial projects
- Coordinate and integrate documentation from engineers, certifiers, and external consultants
- Ensure drawings comply with the National Construction Code, Australian Standards and Queensland legislation.




- Collaborate closely with the construction team to ensure design intent is maintained throughout the building process.
- Maintain drafting accuracy and document control.

Qualifications & Experience

- Certificate IV in Residential Drafting, Diploma of Building Design, or equivalent
- Previous experience in residential and/or commercial drafting documentation
- Highly skilled with Autodesk Revit
- Strong knowledge of Australian construction methods and building regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
