We require up to 30 hardworking, nimble‑fingered, physically able & reliable workers to work in the upcoming strawberry season. MUST be available to start work September 2026 and be committed to a minimum of 5 days per week, 8 hours per session for duration of the season (approx. 9 months). Varying early starts may apply (between 05:00‑07:00) depending on crops/products readiness and management requirements.
You will need to be available for possible extra hours of work to ensure all crops are harvested/sorted/packed as required by management. You must be willing to undertake all jobs listed below and able to work in the Caboolture Qld region. Manual bending, crouching to pick/pack strawberries are required.
Manual picking of strawberries according to size and ripeness is also required. We are looking for nimble fingers, sharp sighted (no colour‑blindness)
and physically able applicants who can produce the quality & quantity needed. Potential long hours in all weather conditions.
Strawberries are weighed & paid by the units (e.g. kilos, trays, punnets). Pickers and Packers must be able to work in a very fast paced setting with speed and accuracy. Modern Horticultural Award 2020 Hourly Rate system is on offer.
Previous (and current) physical outdoor activities or lifestyle habits will be highly regarded. Outdoor work which can be cold and wet OR very hot and dry. We need reliable, flexible workers.
Regular lifting and bending. Gentle but fast hands needed. Ability to follow instructions a must.
Work is offered through a labour hire agency on a casual basis.
