The RoleAn opportunity has become available for a Senior Health Lawyer to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 14 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern Current South Wales region of Australia.You willProvide support and assistance to the Principal Lawyers (Deputy General Counsel) within the organisation's legal team structurePrepare/review statements to inform coronial investigations and instruct Counsel and represent the organisation's interests as an advocate at Coronial inquestsReview statements for police investigations, criminal proceedings or other litigation mattersManage medical negligence and non health-care claims under the Personal Injury Proceedings Act 2002About youTo be successful in this position you will require:Tertiary degree in Law and Admission to practice as a Legal Practitioner in QueenslandAppointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership with the appropriate registration authority or association within Australia.
