Registered Nurse - Colorectal Surgery
About The Role
An exciting prospect exists for a Registered Nurse to join the Department of Colorectal Surgery at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPA), one of Australia's leading tertiary referral hospitals.
The Department of Colorectal Surgery provides specialist colorectal surgical services across Sydney Local Health District and delivers care to patients from metropolitan Sydney, rural New South Wales, and interstate. The service also provides a 24-hour colorectal consultation service for inpatients and plays an integral role in the provision of acute colorectal, general surgery and trauma care.
As part of this collaborative multidisciplinary team, you will have the prospect to care for patients with a diverse range of complex colorectal conditions while working alongside experienced clinicians committed to excellence in patient care, education and innovation.

Ideal Candidate
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
- Surgical experience will be highly regarded but is not essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team
- Sound time management and organisational skills
