About the role

We are seeking an experienced Estimator / Customer Service representative to join our team in Shepparton, VIC on a full-time basis. This is a pivotal role that combines customer-facing expertise with technical estimating knowledge. You will be the bridge between our clients and our production team, ensuring that every project is accurately quoted, professionally managed, and delivered to the highest standard. This position is essential to our business operations and directly impacts client satisfaction and company profitability.

Key responsibilities

- Providing accurate and competitive quotations for printing projects based on specifications, materials, and production requirements
- Liaising with customers to understand their printing needs, clarify requirements, and ensure all specifications are captured correctly
- Managing customer enquiries via telephone, email, and in person with professionalism and efficiency
- Inputting estimates and job specifications into company systems to ensure seamless handover to production teams
- Following up with customers regarding quote acceptance and facilitating the transition to the production phase
- Maintaining detailed records of all quotations, pricing structures, and client interactions




- Building and maintaining positive relationships with existing and prospective customers to encourage repeat business
- Collaborating with production staff to ensure feasibility of quotes and optimal resource allocation
- Staying informed of printing capabilities, available materials, and current market pricing
- Resolving customer queries and concerns promptly and professionally

What we’re looking for

- Knowledge of printing processes, paper types and finishing options
- Excellent numeracy skills with the ability to calculate estimates accurately and efficiently
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset
- Knowledge of MS- Outlook, Excel, Word
- Knowledge of Graphic design is an added advantage but not essential
- The ability to manage multiple enquiries simultaneously whilst maintaining attention to detail
- A professional and courteous demeanor when dealing with clients at all levels
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively about customer requirements
- Familiarity with printing industry standards and terminology
- Previous experience in a fast-paced business environment is advantageous
