Oceania Geo Seismic is a small, niche Australian seismic company delivering low-impact, high-tech seismic solutions across the resources sector. Our base is in Hervey Bay, QLD, but our field crews work on projects across Australia. We're growing our crew and looking for motivated, physically fit people to join our seismic line crew - playing a hands‑on role in acquiring high-quality seismic data that supports exploration activities. No seismic experience required, just the right attitude.

What's in it for you

- High day rates, including mobilisation pay for travel days
- Flights and transport to and from project sites - fully covered
- Accommodation and meals paid for the duration of every project
- A close‑knit crew where your contribution is noticed, decisions happen quickly, and you work directly with the people running the business.

The Role

As part of our Seismic Line Crew, you'll be out in the field deploying and retrieving seismic recording devices, operating specialised equipment, and carrying out general site duties - all while working to strict HSE standards.

Expect to be on your feet, walking varied terrain, carrying gear, and bending/kneeling to deploy and retrieve sensors. It's physical, outdoor work in a small‑team environment, where every site brings a new landscape to work in.

What We're Looking For

- Available to work away from home in remote locations for extended swings (approx. 2-4 weeks at a time)
- Physically fit and comfortable with outdoor, manual work
- Excellent communications skills

- Motivated and reliable - a genuine "get the job done" team player
- Easy to get along with - you'll be working and living alongside a small crew
- Comfortable working under strict HSE requirements, including daily checks and safety observations
- Holder of an Open Manual Driver's Licence
- Willing to complete pre‑employment medicals, random drug and alcohol screening, and police checks
- Full working rights in Australia (essential)
- Previous experience in seismic operations, geophysical fieldwork, or similar outdoor technical roles is a bonus but we're just as interested in the right person as the right resume.

Highly Regarded

- Standard 11 Surface Induction and Coal Board Medical
- Advanced 4WD driving competency
- First Aid/CPR certification
- MR/HR Driver's Licence
- Plant operating licenses i.e. skid steer, tractor, front end loader.

These will be highly regarded, or a willingness to obtain them - we'll support the right candidate in doing so.
