About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join a growing team in Melbourne. This role involves providing clinic-based and community-based therapy services, primarily supporting elderly and aged care clients under the NDIS.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based interventions, developing tailored therapy plans, and working closely with clients and their families to support independence and quality of life.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and goals.
- Develop and implement individualised, evidence-based treatment plans.
- Deliver therapy services in clinic and community settings.
- Monitor client progress and adjust interventions as required.
- Educate clients and families on therapy strategies and techniques.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
- Provide ongoing support and encouragement throughout the therapy journey.
Essential Criteria
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Current AHPRA registration.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
- Access to a reliable vehicle and a valid Australian driver’s licence.
