Are you interested in Paediatric Nursing? It is an exciting time for you to join the child and adolescent team at Royal North Shore Hospital! You will be welcomed into a team offering a supportive fun environment who actively encourage staff to develop.
The Child and Adolescent unit is a level 4 unit consisting of a 20 bedded in patient ward, a short stay ward and outpatient clinics.We cater for children from 0-17 years who are admitted to the unit. Our main specialities include medical, surgical, orthopaedic, ENT, plastics and mental health. We are a welcoming team and offer a supportive fun environment to all staff joining the team. The senior nursing support team includes full time NUM, CNE, CNC and CNS 2’s. The unit has a robust philosophy of quality improvement and family centred care.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Registered Nurse - Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Recent post registration relevant experience in acute paediatric nursing.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Current clinical knowledge and clinical problem solving ability.
