McNally delivers turnkey design, manufacturing and construction solutions for mining villages and non-process infrastructure throughout Western Australia.

With a strong pipeline of work and continued growth across our construction operations, we are seeking an accomplished Project Manager to lead complex, high-value projects from tender handover and contract award through to practical completion and close-out.

This is an opportunity to take genuine ownership of your projects while being supported by experienced site and head-office teams across construction, commercial, design, manufacturing, procurement, logistics, estimating and finance.

You will have direct access to senior decision-makers, the authority to keep projects moving and the opportunity to influence how McNally continues to strengthen its project delivery capability.

Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will be accountable for the safety, quality, schedule, cost, commercial performance and client outcomes of your projects.

You will lead from the front, establish clear expectations and bring together clients, site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and internal stakeholders to deliver successful project outcomes.

This is a Perth-based role with regular travel to project sites, typically around four to six days each month.

Your responsibilities will include:

Managing projects from tender handover and contract award through to practical completion and close-out

Establishing and maintaining project execution plans, programs, budgets, forecasts and reporting requirements

Leading project safety, quality, procurement, scheduling and delivery performance

Managing budgets, cash flow, progress claims, variations, extensions of time and head contract obligations

Driving subcontractor and supplier performance to achieve safe, timely and high-quality outcomes

Coordinating design,

engineering, manufacturing, procurement, logistics and site construction requirements

Identifying commercial and delivery risks early and implementing practical solutions

Maintaining clear and constructive relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal stakeholders

Leading and mentoring Contract Administrators, Project Engineers, Project Coordinators and Site Managers

Representing McNally professionally in every client, project and site interaction

About you

You are a proven construction Project Manager who understands that successful project delivery requires more than maintaining a program and producing reports.

You create clarity, hold people accountable respectfully and remain composed when projects become challenging. You are commercially astute, operationally practical and confident making well-informed decisions.

You will bring:

Substantial Project Management experience within construction, mining services, resources, remote construction or another complex project-delivery setting

A demonstrated record of delivering projects safely, on schedule, within budget and to the required quality standard

Strong commercial capability across cost forecasting, progress claims, variations, extensions of time, subcontract administration and head contract compliance

Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams across office and remote-site environments

The confidence to communicate effectively with clients, directors, subcontractors,

suppliers and site personnel

Strong planning, risk management and problem-solving capability

A practical leadership style and the ability to maintain momentum under pressure

Working knowledge of MS Project, Primavera P6 or comparable scheduling software

Qualifications in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering or a related discipline will be well regarded.

Experience delivering mining accommodation villages, modular construction or non-process infrastructure will be highly regarded.

Why McNally?

At McNally, you will join a privately owned Western Australian business where capable people are trusted to take ownership and decisions can be made without unnecessary layers.

We offer:

A competitive remuneration package

Additional site uplift for time spent working on site

A strong project pipeline and long-term employment stability

A predominantly Perth-based position with regular project exposure

Direct access to senior leadership and experienced internal support teams

The opportunity to lead complex projects from beginning to end

Salary-sacrificing options

Access to our Employee Assistance Program

A values-led team that backs each other, solves problems and celebrates its wins

We are deeply committed to our core values and foundations. We take the work seriously, but not ourselves. Fun is one of our values, so laughter and light-hearted moments are part of how we build strong teams, remain resilient and enjoy the challenge.

You will fit well at McNally if you take ownership, communicate clearly, play above the line and bring an All in mindset.

At McNally, we build better people, better relationships and better projects.

We do what we say we are going to do - first time, on time, all the time.
