IT Service Delivery Manager
NSW Government | Contract | Parramatta (Hybrid)
Contract: 17/08/2026 - 31/12/2026 (with likely extension)
Rate: $900-$950/day + super
Own service delivery for a major grants management program - a genuinely wide-ranging role spanning ITSM, supplier management, and reporting/analytics support.
What you’ll do
- Run day-to-day service delivery across a whole-of-government platform - SLAs, incidents, problem management, supplier performance
- Build and mature ITSM processes and tools that actually get used, not just documented
- Support agencies with Whole of Government Reporting queries and help build bespoke dashboards
- Be the person who lifts other agencies' reporting capability, not just fixes their tickets
What you’ll be up against
- Competing priorities across multiple agencies and suppliers, all wanting things now
- Getting ITSM discipline embedded in a way people will actually follow
- Agencies at very different maturity levels needing very different kinds of support
What you need
- 7+ years in IT service management, application support or service delivery in a complex enterprise environment
- Experience supporting business-critical, integrated platforms - reporting/analytics included
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills; comfortable being the connective tissue between business, technical and supplier teams
- Hands-on exposure to Power BI, Azure, Snowflake or similar
- Solid grasp of data governance, data models and reporting concepts
- Relevant tertiary quals/certs in IT, IS, CS, Business or Data & Analytics - or equivalent experience
