We are now seeking a passionate and experienced Centre Director/Nominated Supervisor (or even Assistant Directors ready to take the next step in their career) to take the lead in showcasing our service and ensuring a comfortable and secure environment for children and staff. This is a long‑term leadership opportunity for someone who truly wants to make an impact for the families of the Newcastle/Hunter Valley region.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We are seeking an experienced and inspiring Early Childhood leader who is dedicated to educational excellence and fostering a positive, collaborative culture. You will bring strong leadership and management capabilities, a child‑centred philosophy, and a passion for empowering educators to thrive.
Your proven ability to lead with vision and unity will set the tone for success.
To be considered, you will have:
- Certificate III, Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved)
- Director/Centre Manager experience in Early Childhood preferred but not essential as we offer support and training when required.
- Working knowledge & strong understanding of the EYLF, NQS and QIP
- Robust understanding of the Rights of the Child and Child Safe Practices and standards
- Strong leadership in team development, culture and retention
- Current NSW Working with Children Check
- Approved Child Protection Training
- First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification
- Australian working rights (citizenship, residency or visa)
- NSW Police Check
- Confident communication, people management and organisational skills
- Proven ability to drive occupancy, build community relationships and lead continuous improvement
Your Role & Key responsibilities:
- Drive the centre's vision, pedagogy, and operations
- Inspire, mentor and support a team of passionate educators
- Maintain compliance, policies and exceed quality standards
- Build strong relationships with children, families and the local community
- Lead with confidence in welcoming new families and ensuring a high staff morale
- Maintain high standards in educational programming and regulatory compliance
- Champion a sustainable and inclusive learning environment
