About The Role
Western Health has an exciting opportunity for a motivated pharmacist to join our team as a Dispensary Pharmacist - Grade 1. This position is permanent, full time (80 hours per fortnight).
Key Responsibilities
The Dispensary Pharmacist (Grade 1) is primarily responsible for the provision of the dispensing services provided to inpatients and outpatients, including Hospital in the Home (HITH) patients.
This role contributes to high-quality pharmacy operations by participating in dispensing services, patient education and counselling, promoting medication safety and medicines optimisation through collaboration with patients, prescribers and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
About You
- Completion of Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent.
