The Dental Group is seeking a friendly and motivated Receptionist / Clinic Coordinator to become an integral part of our vibrant teams at The Dental Lounge. This is a full-time position based in Double Bay, offering a fantastic opportunity to work in a pleasant environment focused on patient care.
You will be the first point of contact for our patients, contributing to a positive dental experience in a busy, supportive setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Warmly greet and assist patients as they arrive, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Manage appointments and patient inquiries via phone and in-person.
- Coordinate patient billing and insurance claims to facilitate smooth transactions.
- Maintain accurate patient records and scheduling.
- Guide patients through treatment options, assisting with plan coordination and payment options
- Personalise treatment plans, manage appointments, and oversee payments
- Proactively rebook patients for treatments.
- Handle correspondence, manage inventory, and keep the reception area organised.
- Work collaboratively with dental professionals to optimise patient flow.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Previous experience in a receptionist role, preferably in a dental or healthcare setting.
- Sales experience is preferred for this role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and friendly demeanour.
- Solid organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and handle high volumes of calls and visitors.
- Basic knowledge of dental terminology and insurance processes is a plus.
