A temporary part-time opportunity to play a key role in supporting nursing workforce operations, recruitment, onboarding, payroll and workforce administration.
About the role
As the Administration Support Officer within the Nursing Workforce Unit, you will play an important role in supporting the nursing workforce behind the scenes, helping to ensure the smooth delivery of healthcare services across the hospital. This varied and fast-paced position provides administrative support across workforce operations, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll and human resources processes, data management, invoice processing, and general office coordination.
About you
- Demonstrate high-level organisational skills, including the ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing operational requirements.
- Promote a positive and professional work environment that supports high levels of motivation, productivity, quality service delivery, and cost-effective operations.
- Work effectively as a member of the interprofessional team, contributing to the achievement of team and organisational objectives.
- Demonstrate initiative, sound judgement, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify, implement and contribute to process improvements.
- Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously when required, exercising discretion and prioritising workloads to achieve expected outcomes.
