We are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Storeperson to join a busy warehouse operation. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who is confident working independently and can manage day‑to‑day warehouse activities with minimal supervision.
About the Role
You will be responsible for supporting the smooth operation of the warehouse, including receiving deliveries, managing stock and inventory, pallet handling and general warehouse duties.
The role also involves manual handling and the safe decanting of chemicals for laboratory staff, so experience working with hazardous goods is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, process and prepare deliveries, including pallet handling
- Maintain accurate inventory and stock records
- Organise stock and maintain general warehouse housekeeping
- Complete stock replenishment and daily task lists
- Safely perform manual handling duties
- Assist with chemical decanting for laboratory staff
- Operate warehouse equipment including walkie stackers and pallet jacks
- Support general warehouse operations as required
- Work independently while effectively managing competing priorities
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience operating a walkie stacker
- Previous pallet jack experience
- Experience handling hazardous goods
- Strong manual handling capability
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- A flexible attitude and willingness to assist across a range of warehouse tasks
- Solid organisational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to reliably attend site Monday to Friday
You must reside locally and be able to reliably show up
Desirable
- Warehouse Management certification or a similar relevant qualification
