Licensed Electrician – Sydney Based Work Across Sydney REDS Power Solutions Pty Ltd Sydney NSW Trades & Services – Electricians Full time

We currently have an opportunity available for a Licensed Electrician to join REDS Power Solutions Pty Ltd. This is a full-time role best suited to someone based in Sydney, with work currently covering Sydney through to Newcastle.

Our workload is continuing to grow across Sydney and the Central Coast, and we’re looking for the right person to grow with us as that pipeline expands.

The Role

You’ll be working across a mix of residential, commercial and industrial electrical jobs, with current works spread between Sydney, the Central Coast and Newcastle.

If you have experience in any of the following types of work, we want to hear from you:

- Residential electrical work
- Commercial electrical work
- Industrial electrical work
- Switchboard upgrades and installations
- Fault finding and troubleshooting
- Lighting, power and general electrical installations
- Solar or energy-related electrical work
- Service, maintenance and small projects
- Working directly with clients and other trades
- Leading apprentices or helping develop younger team members





You’ll be representing REDS on client sites, so we need someone who can turn up prepared, communicate clearly, work safely, and complete work to a standard they’d be happy to put their name on.

At REDS, our standard is simple: if we wouldn’t post a photo of the job, it’s not finished.

What We’re Looking For

You’ll suit this role if you:

- Are based in Sydney or nearby
- Are comfortable travelling between Sydney, the Central Coast and Newcastle
- Are a fully licensed electrician
- Take pride in quality workmanship
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- Communicate clearly with clients, teammates and management
- Think ahead and solve problems instead of making excuses
- Are confident working across different types of electrical jobs
- Can help guide apprentices when required
- Care about safety, presentation and doing the job properly
- Want to be part of a business that is growing in the right direction

We’re not looking for someone who just wants to clock in and disappear. We’re looking for someone who wants to take ownership, give things a crack, and be part of a team that is building something solid.

Must-Have Requirements

You must hold:





- Current NSW electrical licence
- Current driver’s licence
- White Card / General Construction Induction Card
- Strong knowledge of Australian electrical standards and safe work practices
- Ability to work legally in Australia

Experience with AS/NZS 3000, testing, fault finding, compliance and site documentation will be highly regarded.
